Chelsea Beat Leicester in a Comeback Victory

League leaders and potential champions Chelsea moved a step closer towards the English Premier League title after a convincing 3-1 victory over strugglers Leicester city.Didier Drogba was on the scoresheet while John Terry and Ramires also found the back of the net.

Leicester shocked Chelsea with a goal in the stoppage time of the first half after a goal from Marc Brighton but the lead was cut out by Chelsea living legend Didier Drogba after great work from Branislav Ivanovic in the 47th minute. The next goal was also scored by a living legend John Terry who tapped in from a Schmeichel save from Gary Cahill’s header. The game was all over when Ramires finished sweetly onto the top corner after being teed up by leading assister Cesc Fabregas seven minutes from time.

Petr Cech returned between the sticks for Chelsea after Thibaut Coutois was not fully fit for the match. Leicester played well in the first half creating many golden opportunities but failed to score. Konchesky dribbled past Ramires and fired a shot and Petr Cech had to push it towards the posts. Ulloa  had a glorious opportunity in the first half but he failed to control the ball after a long pass from midfield. The home fans gave their best to distract Chelsea by chanting “Boring Boring Chelsea” through - out the game but they never looked disturbed and went on to score two goals after the incident. Chelsea was dominant after they scored the all vital equaliser in the 47th minute.   
 

A win on Sunday could see Chelsea lift the league title this year.
