Juventus Clinch Fourth Successive Title

An Arturo Vidal strike in the first half saw Juventus clinch their fourth successive Serie A title. Arturo Vidal headed in from close range to give Juventus the lead against Sampordia in the 32nd minute and the lead stayed on until the final whistle of the game. Juventus are now in good spirits for the Champions League semifinal against Real Madrid. They will now be looking for a treble after already being elected for the Coppa Italia Final.

Vidal wasted an opportunity in the 25th minute but made amends for it by scoring 7 minutes later.
Djamel Mesbah was forced to leave the pitch just before the break. The osts could have equalized in the 43rd minute but they squandered the opportunity. Muriel slid in a wonderful through ball to Soriano but he failed to finish and squandered the opportunity.

Juventus star Carlos Tevez hit a wonderfully executed shot but the Sampordia goalkeeper Emiliano Viviano made a top quality save in the 58th minute. Gonsalo Bergessio was bursting towards goal but Juventus Defender Leonardo Bonucci made a wonderful life saving last-ditch tackle to deny Bergessio from a shot.

Juventus kept on pressurizing by taking shots at goal but Viviano kept their hopes alive.

Juventus defended well to take the 1-0 lead to the final whistle and clinch their 4th successive Serie A title.
