The second of the night came in the 49th minute when Toni Kroos’s low cross was turned in by Dos Santos into his own goal. James Rodriguez was Substituded in the 60th minute for Isco. Jese was back into the starting line-up. The third and final goal was was scored by defender Alvaro Arbeloa after some great work from Isco and and Chicharito down the left hand side.

Alvaro Arbeloa was the man of the match for his all-round performance. The main highlight on the bench was Teenage Sensation Martin Odegaard who was called up by coach Carlo Ancelotti. But he couldn’t make his appearance for Real Madrid.

Cristiano Ronaldo looked a bit shaky from the first whistle and he was unable score his 40th league goal and increases his goal gap between Lionel Messi to 2 goals. Real Madrid have fierce fixtures coming up as they have to face in form Sevilla (laliga), Juventus (champions league) and Valencia (laliga) in their next three fixtures. Until then “PEACE”.
