Hull City Breaks Liverpool Hearts

Liverpool’s European dreams were hit with a huge blow after they suffered a shocking loss to lowly hull city, which saw only one goal and it came in the first half of the game.

Hull City gained a much needed and much deserved win at the KC stadium which saw them leapfrog over Aston Villa to 15th place. Michael Dawson scored the all vital goal as Brendan Rodgers side could only accumulate 4 of the last 15 available points.

Even though Liverpool dominated the game in terms of possession they couldn’t penetrate through a well-organized Hull defense. Michael Dawson was awarded the man of the match award after his all-round performance.
Mario Balotelli failed to register again while Aluko celebrated a very good match in which he humiliated two Liverpool defenders with some awesome tricks.
There were very little away fans (Liverpool) and even they protested for ticket prices. Philipe Coutinho was the main man of Liverpool and he nearly scored an amazing goal after cutting across the box to meet a Henderson ball but Hull keeper Harper reacted well to save it.
Hull could have scored a goal or more if they had not wasted many counter chances.
Emre Can had a good game but Rodgers preferred to put him in defense rather than his preferred midfield role.

A win for Liverpool would have cut their gap between Manchester united to 4 points but they are still 7 points away from European berth.
