Elche escapes from relegation zone after a superb 4-0 win
over Deportivo in La Liga. Elche is 7 points clear of the relegation zone.Jonathas, David Lomban, Mario Pasalic, Gary Mendes Rodriguez

Damian Suarez played a delightful through ball to Jonathas
who didn’t miss from close range to make it 1-0 to Elche before six minutes.
Elche dominated possession after the first goal and the second goal didn’t take
much time to come.
.Enzo Roco was dribbling inside the penalty area where he
was brought down and the referee didn’t hesitate to point to the spot. Elche
penalty specialist Lomban made it 2-0 in the 20th minute after he
coolly converted the spot kick.
Oriol Reira and Lucas Perez had chances to level for the
visitors but they couldn’t find the back of the net. German international
Pasalic made it 3-0 for the home side as he easily headed in from a cross.
The match was decided
when Rodrigues made it 4-0 in stoppage time.
